Responses and photos from the photo talk held at the Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College in Bangi on 26th of April 2008. Total attendees, maybe about 140, including those who came in the middle of the session.

To make it transparence, the responses were given to us on a piece of paper without any name of the responder, except a few who chose to be known.

My 2 sen comments :

1. Pictures are awesome (gila habis)
2. Wished you were more organised in your delivery, you were a bit “here, there and everywhere”. But I still get your messages nevertheless.
3. Wished you could have another talk that could perhaps zoom on more technical things, for instance, like study some pictures and how they were taken.
4. Lastly, thanks for making this session so affordable?

Thanks bro bazuki and zainal.

You inspires.

The talk was semi-formal, so I feel relaxed. No need for formality. Keep it up !!

Thanks again.

fwfoodsimg_6221.jpg

gmbr2 hj bazuki kebanyakannya kena dgn emosi….nth la…mgkin sbb faktor moment dlm gmbr dan persekitaran gambar tu sendiri… most di negara jiran dan negara sendiri kan? so…bile tgk gambr

tu..mcm nangis n ketawa ttg org yg dkt dgn kita…

so…mmg terasa ‘dekat’ di hati la…

klw mcm hj zainal punye gmbr….lbh kepada kasihan….sedih n kasihan..is a different things rite? tp msh tinggalkan emosi…

mmg xsangke dapat berjumpe ngn hj berdua smlm sbb saya sdg final exam sebenarnye….oleh kerana minat, saya xlepaskan peluang ni…lagi lah dgn sikap hj yg ‘mesra alam’ tu…lagi lah bahagia

saya..haha

so..THANKS A LOT…BYK YG SAYA BELAJA…

so…harapnya….pertemuan dan tunjuk ajar tidak setakat sampai di sini sahaja…sbg budak baru dlm bidang ni….guide dari org2 berpengalaman dari anda mmg amat saya perlukan….

Mr Bazuki, I attended your photojournalism talk today and I was so happy to finally meet you in person. Thank you so much for taking time from your busy schedule to share your experience and knowledge. I gained a lot of insight from your talk and was very fascinated with your idea of pre-visualizing images as sketches before actually taking pictures with the camera. I admire your enthusiasm and sense of humor. I’m looking forward to see you again in the future. Thank you

Zainal auto slide show too fast, tak sempat nak hayati gambar.

Zainal and Bazuki, memang best, teruja. Good experience for me. TQ, Nazriamani.

To : Mr Bazuki.
Thanks for sharing a lot of valuable points and experience. They have really opened up my eyes to new perspective of photography.

To : Mr Zainal.
I appreciate all the technical aspects that you share throughout the talks. Thanks a bunch !

Not related to the topic.

Zainal auto slide show too fast, tak sempat hayati gambar.

More on this next time.

It’s a great contribution to our small but growing community !

Looking forward for the next one.

Rahman Roslan.

awesome PHOTOTALK ever. too impressed to see all the artworks (photographs) till speechless / lot of words and no further questions to be asked. TQ so much !!.

Keep up good works. SYABAS!!

For a beginner like me, the explanation still was not enough. needs more to elaborate on the images ie setting, AV, TV or manual.

Bazuki, a good presentation but I was a little shy to ask question, but you have already answered all my questions. Cool stuff !!

Zainal, a good experience sharing, really adore your work!

Thank you both.

BAZUKI & ZAINAL, YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!

Bazuki.
- Thankx for the free talk.
- Hope next talk you can share how you study the subject.
- Next talk I think you should prepare the slot, but then this is free session I don’t care about it.

- Preparation for the talk must be done earlier, anyway thanks !

Congratulations on improving my understanding on photojournalism. I’ve known zero on theoretical terms for photo. Not really interested at first, but now your talk has widen my view. TQ.

to Reuters Malaysia! Bazuki and Zainal, Love your presentation! GOOD JOB !!

Assalamualaikum,
Congrats for the nice session on the phototalk 26/9/2008.
As a newbie i would more interesting to learn what is the best approach to deal with some country that have a negative perception or unwelcome PJ/dslr/camera/ etc about photography.
